About You
Many physical therapists treat symptoms. They may use ice, heat, massage, stretching or some other method to make you feel better. But, two key questions remain:
- Is your body healthier as a result of your treatment?
- Can you walk, run, jump, throw, serve, cycle or swim without symptoms?
Your success in overcoming an injury or surgery will be based on the following three factors:
- The nature, severity and chronicity of your injury. A two month history of Runner's Knee is more easily solved than a two year history or a combination of Runner's Knee with Achilles Tendonitis. We understand your injury, how to help you heal, and how to design an efficient rebuilding program just for you.
- Your resources. Time, energy, and money all play a role in successful rebuilding programs. If you do not have the time and energy available to you to do what it takes to win, you're better off waiting until you do. Many clients use their health insurance to help pay for our services. Upon scheduling your initial consultation, we will gladly check with your insurance carrier and explain to you exactly what to expect.
- Your attitude and commitment. Attitude is the mental and emotional position you have about a situation or problem. Attitude is a combination of what you believe and value causing you to take certain actions. Your attitude influences your commitment. Attitude is a choice. How do you handle set backs and failures? Do you sulk and wish it were some other way or do you get up and try again? Are you patient? Can you work diligently toward an objective day by day? We'll coach you, motivate you, and push you, but your attitude is your choice.

My experience here exceeded my expectations. I never thought that I would feel this good this soon. The staff were all fantastic, their instructions were clear, their expectations reasonable and they did a great job explaining the purpose of each exercise. If anyone I knew needed physical therapy I would definitely recommend Sports Center. I would tell them to trust the staff and do everything that they recommend and that if they do they will be back to normal before they know it.
Michael Moore
"They care about helping people to heal, they all have a positive attitude and make clients feel comfortable. Most importantly, they have the knowledge, experience and skills to DO what they say they do: help people get better. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement.
Leslie Cromwell (Yoga Instructor)
To me it meant hope. After my surgery I thought I was never going to return to my normal exercise routine. The atrophy in my leg was down right scary for me. I felt improvement every week. The best part is the individual attention and knowing that everyone were a united front. Sports Center is in a league of its own. There is physical therapy and there is Sports Center. I would recommend Sports Center to everyone who wants quality results."
